Ariane Belisle is a London-based art advisor and curator specializing in post-war and contemporary art. She established AIB Art Advisory after her many years of first-hand experience in both the primary and secondary art markets. Ariane has worked closely with several major private art collectors, corporate collections and foundations, advising on their acquisition and consignment strategies, and managing their collections on an international scale. Through numerous transactions, Ariane maintains close ties with London’s leading commercial art galleries and auction houses. With this solid foundation, she is uniquely poised to identify current market trends and collaborate with both new and established collectors. Ariane was the recipient of Spear’s Young Turk Award and included in the magazine’s Top 25 Recommended Art Advisers in 2018.
Since receiving her MA in Curating from The Courtauld Institute of Art, Ariane has worked on a variety of curatorial projects with Newport Street Gallery, Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, The Ingram Collection, The Marrakech Museum of Photography and Visual Arts, The Victoria and Albert Museum and The Courtauld Gallery.
Ariane has contributed to numerous art publications, including Candid Magazine, Espace Magazine, Haute Living Magazine, ArtNow Magazine, This Is Tomorrow: Contemporary Art Magazine and Courtauld Reviews, and has written catalogue essays for Sotheby’s, The Courtauld Gallery and V&A Publications.
Ariane is a Creative Befriender for Resonate Arts, a pioneering program of innovative arts based activities and experiences for people living with dementia.
